Jerry Fry

Chief Executive Officer/Owner

Jerry was born and raised at the Mt. Eden farm where he farmed the land with his father. He studied Agricultural Engineering and Soil Science at University of California, Berkeley and University of California, Davis. He earned his master's degree in Soil Physics at U.C. Davis. He took over operations of the family business after his father's death in the 1970s. Jerry's mother and father moved the business to Lodi with its rich sandy soil. Jerry has remained active in his community over the years as he served on the board of the Woodbridge Fire Department as a director and a volunteer fireman for 25 years. Jerry is highly respected by his peers as a founding director of California Association of Winegrape Growers(CAWG), member of the Lodi Hall of Fame, member of San Joaquin County Hall of Fame, and recipient of the Award of Merit at Lodi's Wine Integrity dinner. Also in 2021 Jerry was awarded William T. Harkins Outstanding Citizen of the Year by the Lodi Chamber of Commerce. Jerry has served as a member of many agricultural based organizations including: Lodi Rules, Lodi District Grape Growers Association, Knights of the Vine, and others. Also active with the San Joaquin Cherry Growers Association, participated in the Wine Vision "a group dedicated to promoting the growth and development of the wine consumer industry." He believes that through these groups a strong market can be created in addition to solving many problems. Jerry was recognized by the California State Assembly for his contributions to agriculture. He is also an active member in the First United Methodist Church, a member of the finance committee, chair of the Pastor Staff Committee, and the endowment committee. He has also served as board director for the World of Wonders Science Museum (W.O.W); and remains an active member of the Lodi Rotary Club after having been president in 1978 and 2020.

Alfreda Andrews

Chief Administrator Officer/Owner

Alfreda was born and raised on the original Mt. Eden farm where she experienced and enjoyed the rural farming lifestyle. She attended and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a major in Political Science. After completing her graduate work at San Jose State University and teaching, she came to work for Mohr-Fry Ranches as Vice President of Administration and Secretary. Alfreda has remained connected to her community through her involvement in Knights of the Vine. She likes to stay active in her community through her involvement with Menlo Park Presbyterian Church and Bible Study Fellowship. In addition, she has volunteered at Allied Arts benefiting Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford and Junior League. Following her presidency, she remains an active volunteer with Peninsula Volunteers Inc., a provider of senior services which includes Meals on Wheels, low cost senior housing, adult activity center, and Rosner House day care support service for frail and mentally disabled elderly.

Bob Andrews

Chief Financial Officer

Born and raised in Castro Valley, Bob grew up around agriculture. His family has had farm land in the Imperial Valley for over 90 years, growing a variety of row crops. After high school, Bob went to UC Berkley where he received his BS in Mechanical Engineering and MBA. After graduating he worked as a design engineer on nuclear power plant projects, a comptroller, was the Director Of Operations for an aerospace company, and worked as a supply chain manager for a computer related company. Then in 2010, he was hired on full-time as the CFO for Mohr-Fry Ranches. Alongside his great career achievements he does a lot within his community. He served on the Atherton Planning Commission and President of the Atherton Civic Interest League and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Menlo Park, Menlo Church and Bible Study Fellowship.

Bruce Fry

Vice President of Operations

Born and raised in Lodi, Bruce grew up working on the ranch part-time while attending school. After receiving his degree in Agricultural Business Management with a focus on farm and ranch management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1995. He joined the family business full-time and is now the Vice President of Operations.
Bruce continues to be an active grower, spending his long days in the field. Among the boards and commissions on which Bruce has served and continues to serve are: Lodi Winegrape Commission Board (LWC); LWC Research Committee; Lodi District Grape Growers Association Board; The City of Lodi Community Separator/Greenbelt Task Force; Board of Directors of the San Joaquin County Farm Bureau. He has also been on the Board of Directors of California Association of Winegrape Growers (CAWG) since 2001 and has served as Treasurer and as Vice Chairman. Bruce is also the past President and past Vice President of the Winegrape Growers of America (WGA).

Steve Blackwell

Head Mechanic

Born and raised in Lockeford, not too far from Lodi. Steve went to Lodi High School. After graduating he went right into the work force. He spent his first 9 years after high school at Vino Farms, then 2 years with CAT, then in 2009 Steve started full-time at Mohr-Fry Ranches. Steve is always innovating. Constantly thinking of new ways to make our equipment more efficient and durable. When he isn't working he is spending time with his wife and 2 kids.

Kimberly Larranaga

Office Manager/Accountant

Kim was born in Los Angeles and moved to Stockton with her family when she was 10 years old . After high school she attended Fresno State, where she graduated with a BS in Business Management. While there she was the philanthropy and assistant membership chair for Kappa Alpha Theta. During her college summers she was an intern at Florsheim Homes. After college Kim worked for Accountemps/Diamond Foods and an Accountant for Vaquero Farms, Inc. and was their Accounts Payable Coordinator. Kim has been an active notary public since 2016.  In 2018 Kim was hired on full-time at Mohr-Fry Ranches.  When Kim isn't working she spends time taking care of her family's ranch where they grow wine grapes and raise livestock. In addition to spending time with her husband and 2 young daughters.
